Eye of the Beholder

Description

Underneath the city of Waterdeep is the presence of something nefarious. The Lords of Waterdeep assemble a team of heroes to look into the matter, but it appears that someone or something has been observing the events as they unfold. The heroes have just entered the sewers when suddenly the ceiling gives way behind them. The only way out is through the dungeon, which is full of dangerous creatures, tricky traps, and challenging riddles.

Dungeon crawler role-playing game (RPG) Eye of the Beholder is played from a first-person perspective and is based on the rules of the 2nd Edition of AD&D. The initial party consists of four characters, and additional non-player characters can join at a later time (up to two total). In a manner analogous to Dungeon Master, both the combat and the magic take place in real time. There are a wide variety of foes to vanquish and spells to cast in this game. The gameplay consists of using a point-and-click interface to perform actions such as combat, spellcasting, and item manipulation.
