Breath of Fire II

Description

Ryu was a young boy who remembers a strange village in the distance and a magical doorway that sucked him through it. These events occurred a long time ago. On the other hand, those are only faint recollections. Both Ryu and his best friend Bow are currently working their way up through the ranks of the Ranger's Guild. As members of the adventuring community, they accept jobs that are posted by the citizens of the town. However, it doesn't take long before one of Bow's jobs backfires, and he gets blamed for stealing a priceless item. Ryu will travel the world in search of the meaning of his dreams and the hidden abilities he possesses in order to clear his friend's name and find the meaning of his own dreams. Eventually, he will find the meaning of his dreams and the hidden abilities he possesses.

The gameplay of Breath of Fire II is based on the role playing genre. While most of the game is played from a top-down perspective on a map, the actual combat takes place in an isometric perspective. Ryu will piece together teams consisting of eight other characters, each of whom possesses their own unique set of abilities and powers that will assist him in figuring out the secret behind the mystery.

In the game for the Game Boy Advance (GBA), you can link up with your friends and trade weapons and items so that you can take down the more powerful enemies. And because the game features a community system, you will be able to construct and take care of your very own city when you have had enough of adventuring.
