Two people were kidnapped in the village of Lupany. A local policeman "cop" Pankrác is in charge of the investigation. After convincing the officer, Pankrác gets hold of the case documents and finds out the address of the only witness, a deaf pensioner who is under house arrest from his wife. Since there is a shortage of beer in the village after the pub closes, the pensioner provides a description of the suspect despite being under house arrest for a bottle of chilled 12°. This description is then recognised by a shepherd from a cottage outside the village, from whom he is said to be stealing eggs. With petrol from the suicide, Pankrac drives the car to the shepherd and, thanks to Lara Croft's sister, who is the wife of the police chief, obtains a radar tracking device, this is then installed in the eggs.
