Curse of Enchantia
Description
When Little Brad first met a witch, he didn't believe in their existence. The wicked hag torments the fantastical kingdom of Enchantia, and she has just dragged Brad up from the ground to use as a component in the elixir she brews to keep her young forever. Brad doesn't like this plan. And who else than a young, impressionable teenager would be more qualified to rid Enchantia of the sorceress?
The user interface of the graphic adventure game Curse of Enchantia is based on a system of icons. The majority of the things in the game have clear functions, thus it is not necessary to include any descriptions of them in the game. Whenever one of the characters interacts with another, albeit not very often, the words are replaced by symbols in the balloons. If there is any text displayed on the screen, it will most likely be in the form of humorous quips or signals.
Beginning on the ground floor of a prison, Brad will have to break out of his cell and make his way across the ocean floor, passing through a medieval city, a junkyard, and an ice palace on the way. The player gives Brad commands by clicking the right mouse button, which causes an icon bar to appear on the screen. The hero is capable of carrying out a wide array of tasks, including fighting, donning, inserting, and combining items. There is no need to click on the screen at any point; all you have to do is move Brad around. Before Brad can interact with an item, he needs to move into position next to the item in question, which will cause an icon to display in the command bar. The game is designed so that it is impossible to lose; in fact, engaging in activities that could result in death is frequently rewarded with comedic animations.
