Feda - The Emblem of Justice

Description
In a world of fantasy, a member of the imperial forces betrays his comrades after witnessing the slaughter of defenceless villagers at the hands of his own unit. He is sentenced to death in prison, but with the assistance of two former members of the unit, he is able to flee before his execution. As they try to get away from the imperial soldiers who are pursuing them, the group travels through the countryside. As they travel, they band together with other rebels to wage war against their common foe, all the while unearthing previously unknown secrets and sinister plots hatched by the Empire.
FEDA: Emblem of Justice is a strategy role-playing game (RPG) that is comparable to Shining Force and other games of this genre with predetermined characters and gameplay that is linear. The player is in charge of a party that can be of varying sizes and contains characters with a variety of abilities.
The player and the enemy, which is controlled by the game's artificial intelligence, take turns moving the troops and giving orders in the main battle sections. On each turn, the soldiers have the option to defend themselves, move, attack, or use an item from their inventory. The available actions are listed in a menu that is located at the bottom of the screen. Their nature determines the range of their movements and the capabilities of their weapons. While most sword and knife users need to be in close proximity to their targets, a character wielding a crossbow can shoot their targets from behind. Magical offensive abilities have varying ranges, allowing them to reach foes that are located a great distance from the character doing the attacking. Eating rations or using magic, in which case a healer can restore health points to multiple characters at the same time, is two ways to regain lost health points.
Each member of the party possesses their own unique amount of health and magic points, in addition to other statistics such as defence and attack power. They gain experience points whenever they kill an opponent or cast a spell, and they gain additional points whenever the battle comes to a successful conclusion. When they reach 100 points, an increase in their abilities occurs.
On the map screen, the player's party and various enemy factions are shown taking turns moving through the environment. The menu includes selections for travelling with the group as well as camping. In the encampment, one of the characters near the fire pit saves the game, and another character inside the tent provides options to change the colour of the user interface, adjust the sound volume, and rename the members of the party.
In certain areas, such as temples, villages, and towns, the party must investigate the surroundings and engage in conversation with the locals before continuing on to the subsequent section. Later fights will present the player with a moral decision regarding whether or not to attack mutated humans. At the conclusion of each skirmish, the party receives either a dark or a light emblem, and depending on the group's alignment, certain members of the party decide whether or not to remain a part of it.
