Arabian Nights - Sabaku no Seirei Ou

Description
Arabian Nights: Sabaku no Seirei- is a role-playing video game that was developed in Japan and published for the Super Famicom console. At the beginning of the game, a sorcerer by the name of Suleiman is successful in vanquishing the Djinn Ifrit. Ifrit is then made to work for Suleiman in some capacity. Ifrit never gets the chance to exact his revenge on Suleiman, the man who held him captive for such a long period of time, because one day, Suleiman is vanquished by an unknown sorcerer. Ifrit is given the opportunity to exact revenge on the individual who cheated him out of his previous opportunity because Suleiman, with his remaining strength, encases him in a magical ring and then seals it. The protagonist of the game is a young woman by the name of Shukran. She discovers a ring that contains Ifrit, which allows him to regain his power, seek vengeance on the unknown sorcerer who was responsible for his master's downfall, and ultimately gain his freedom.
The battle system in Arabian Nights is a turn-based one, but it has a twist on it that makes it stand out from others. Cards that create elemental barriers transform the entire playing area and have the same impact on players and opponents alike. Cards can have one of nine different attributes and can progress through one of five levels, with higher levels resulting in more powerful effects. Players and foes alike can use barrier cards to bolster their defensive positions and gain an advantage in combat.
The game features a significant amount of nonlinear gameplay. The primary objective is to amass all of the elemental crystals and bring Ifrit's power back up to its original level. The player is responsible for determining the order in which these are completed. In comparison to the majority of role-playing games, Arabian Nights is relatively short at 10–15 hours, but it does feature multiple endings that are determined by the choices you make throughout the game.
