Description

This game shouldn't be confused with Farland Story Denki: Arc Ou no Ensei, which is also known as "Farland Story 2." Farland Story 2 is an independent side-story to the Farland Story series. Farland Story Denki: Arc Ou no Ensei is also known as "Farland Story 2." Twenty years have passed since Arc was crowned king when the events of this game take place, making it part of the same timeline as the second and third "mainstream" Farland Story games. Even though peace has been restored throughout the world, an evil plot is being hatched on the continent of Ionia by an emperor. Riad, the man's son, is not willing to accept his father's methods, particularly when the elder Riad wants to use Serena, a girl Riad loves, as a tool in his plans for conquest and warfare. As a result of Riad's assault on the emperor's minister during the course of their argument, they are both forced to flee the castle together. Graphically and in terms of gameplay, the game is comparable to other titles in the Farland Story series; however, the atmosphere is typically more ominous. Large, strategic battles are the primary focus of this game. During these encounters, you will move your party around the battlefield, attacking enemies physically when they are within range of your weapons and using magic to heal yourself and deal damage to your foes. The game is immediately over when the main character, in this case Riad, passes away, just as it is in the other Farland Story video games.
