Star Wars: Rebel Assault II - The Hidden Empire

The starfighter pilot known as "Rookie One" has more adventures to look forward to, following the victories he had for the Rebel Alliance in the last game. Rookie One's patrols are conducting reconnaissance in the Dreighton Nebula when they get a distress signal from a ship in the area. Any deviation from the flight route that takes place here is fraught with peril because this is a location where ships have been known to vanish. However, what they discover is a presence of the Imperial government in a location where there shouldn't be one... as well as a new covert operation designed to bring about the demise of the Rebel Alliance.

The "interactive movie" that is Rebel Assault II is a rail shooter that has a number of different action scenarios. Rookie One will have moments in which the protagonist flies an X-wing, the Millennium Falcon, speeder bikes, and even walks. The only actual ability he possesses is the ability to target and shoot accurately with a laser weapon, and he also has the occasional opportunity to seek shelter and dodge obstacles. Rookie One will form an alliance with a number of other characters, all of whom will assist him and in turn want protection. The majority of the time, the game takes place in an enclosed setting; however, on occasion, the player will have the opportunity to select a unique action sequence or set off a unique chain of events.
