Prince of Persia 3D

Description

Assan, the Sultan of Persia's brother, is receiving a visit from the Sultan of Persia and his son-in-law. The pleasant family gathering quickly devolves into a nightmarish experience when Assan murders the young Prince's bodyguards, kidnaps the Sultan, and locks the young Prince up in a prison. It appears that the Sultan had pledged his daughter to Assan's son, Rugnor, but later broke his promise by letting her marry the Prince. This is the basis for the quarrel between the brothers regarding the wedding arrangements. The upheaval that follows results in the death of the Sultan and the abduction of the Princess by Rugnor, a cruel creature who resembles a half-tiger. The Prince needs to devise a strategy that will allow him to locate Rugnor, vanquish him, and free his wife.

The game Prince of Persia 3D is exactly what its name suggests: it is an action platformer with puzzle-solving aspects, similar to the other Prince of Persia games, but it is set in a three-dimensional setting. The Prince must continue to timing his jumps, avoid lethal traps, interact with the environment, and combat Rugnor's henchmen who will try to stop him from completing his mission.
