Description

Dkysei 2 is a classic example of the "love adventure" subgenre of video games, which is also sometimes mistakenly referred to as "dating simulations." Your mother passed away when you were a young child, and your father is a well-known archaeologist who travels the world. You are a high school student and your father is an archaeologist. It is now your third year at the 88 High School, and naturally, the most important thing on your mind is the state of your romantic relationships. Will you be able to find a partner among the fifteen lovely female classmates with whom you can have a successful dating experience and a happy ending?

The gameplay is very similar to that of a "standard" adventure game (you have to investigate objects, travel to different locations, engage in conversation with other characters, and make choices), but the story is entirely focused on your relationships with the female characters. The game has its own clock that is stored internally. You are able to navigate your character across a "city map," going to various locations along the way. Each visit takes twenty to thirty minutes of total game time. You are able to schedule appointments and go to a variety of locations at a particular time. Your choices will have an effect on how the story unfolds.
