Final Fight

Description

There are significant differences between the original and the SNES version of Final Fight. The SNES version has one fewer level (the factory level has been removed), one fewer character to choose from (only Haggar and Cody are playable), and no multiplayer mode. There is also a sprite restriction in place that limits players to facing no more than three foes at once.

Whiskey is no longer available as a power-up, and the exclamation "Oh My God!" has been replaced with "Oh My Car!"

The sequel, Final Fight Guy, is essentially the same game as its predecessor, except that Guy, not Cody, is the second character that players can control. A minor adjustment has also been made to the introduction. Guy now explains that Cody is still in Japan honing his martial arts skills, and that it is therefore his responsibility to rescue Jessica. Additionally, there is significantly less slowdown in this updated version of the game, the number of difficulty level options has been increased from two to four, and there are now additional lives and invincibility pickups.
