Hokuto no Ken 7: Seiken Retsuden - Denshōsha e no Michi

Description

This is a fighting game along the lines of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, similar to the sixth instalment of the series that was recently released. The primary plot of the manga and anime series Hokuto no Ken, also referred to as Fist of the North Star, serves as the inspiration for this work.

Following a cataclysmic event, humanity has ceased its technological advancement, and the world has degenerated into a vast wasteland that is ruled by rebel groups. The story's main protagonist, Kenshirou, a member of the Hokuto Shinken school, develops romantic feelings for a young woman named Julia, who is later kidnapped by Shin, a member of the Nanto Seiken school.

The player has the option of fighting in the role of a number of different characters from the series, such as Kenshirou, his brother Raou, the Emperor Souther, the leader of Nanto Seiken Rei, and a number of other characters. The game consists of three different gameplay modes: the story mode, the battle mode, and the free fight mode.
In the story mode, the player takes on the role of Kenshirou and engages in battles that are predetermined and reflect the plot of the series (like facing the assassin Heart).
The player takes part in a competition in the battle mode by selecting one of the playable characters to represent them.
When playing in free fight mode, the player selects both their own characters and their opponents. In order to use the devastating moves that are specific to each character, the player needs to build up their energy reserve before entering a battle.
