3x3 Eyes: Seima Kōrinden

Description

The game is an adaptation of the three-part manga series 3x3 Eyes, and it follows the adventures of a young man named Yakumo Fujii. He spends his time going to school, working as a waiter at a restaurant as a part-time job, socialising with his friends, and a variety of other activities in Tokyo, where he currently resides. But then he runs into a strange young woman named Pai at some point. Pai is the only member of an extinct race known as the "sanzhiyan" to have survived today (Chinese for "three eyes"). They had discovered the key to immortality a very long time ago; however, as a consequence of this discovery, they had lost their human form, and some of them had mutated into horrible demons. Pai's hope is that she will one day return to her human form. Her dependable friend Yakumo's father passed away, and before he did, he expressed the hope that his son would carry on assisting Pai. In the beginning, Yakumo isn't very enthusiastic about that prospect; however, after a strange accident, his nature becomes inextricably linked to Pai's, and he eventually attains immortality himself. He has no other option but to be of assistance to Pai. They embark on a journey that takes them all over the world, from Hong Kong to Mexico, in an effort to find their lost humanity while also battling the remnants of the demon race.
