Sacrifice

Description

In this Real Time Strategy game, the player takes on the role of a wizard who has escaped his own shattered planet, only to find himself in a realm where the gods are fighting amongst themselves to see who can become the most powerful. The Wizard has the ability to switch their allegiance to a different god at each new level of the game, and depending on which god you choose to serve, you will unlock new spells and creatures. When the players are done with the game, they will each have their own individual collection of spells.

As was said earlier, this is a real-time strategy game; but, rather than the standard Top-Down view, it utilizes a third-person view (similar to that of Tomb Raider or Oni), and the primary focus is on engagement in combat as opposed to the management of resources. Combat is the sole way to acquire souls, which are the game's most valuable resource because they are required to summon new creatures. However, there are only so many souls to be found around the area.

You may locate new players to play with by logging on to the company's chat room and connecting to the game's multiplayer option, which is quite similar to what Blizzard offers with their Battle.Net service. You have the option of serving a particular god, which will get you access to all of that god's creatures, or loading one of your Single-Player Wizards, which will grant you access to your own personal set.
