Tomb Raider

Description

Lara Croft, a Tomb Raider who searches ancient sites for priceless relics as part of her work as an archaeologist, is paid to acquire an artifact from a Peruvian tomb that turns out to be one of three pieces of the Atlantean Scion. After being soon betrayed by her employer, Lara Croft sets out for Egypt, Greece, and Rome to retrieve the remaining components before this potent technology ends up in the wrong hands.

In the 3D action game Tomb Raider, Lara Croft is controlled by the player from a third-person viewpoint while there are platforming and puzzle-solving components. The camera follows Lara as she climbs, jumps, and swims across intricate environments, dodging dangerous wildlife. Finding places for Lara to climb, seeking for places for Lara to employ her acrobatic skills, and sliding blocks and pulling levers to solve puzzles and open passageways are all common strategies for navigating levels.

Lara is equipped with twin handguns that hold an endless supply of ammo, but she can also pick up heavier caliber weaponry to face more lethal human foes. In addition, Lara has access to recovery health packets and a compass that she can use to get anywhere. Animals, armed men, as well as ancient and otherworldly forces, are some of Lara's adversaries. A cautious explorer can also locate hidden locations and stay clear of traps.
