ActRaiser

Description

ActRaiser was one of the early games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It capitalised on the popularity of side-scrolling platform action games and the Sim City building model. You take on the role of "The Master," which is essentially God, and it is your job to protect the world from harm.

You begin by sending your spirit into a warrior equipped with a large sword and magical powers, and then you use this warrior to cleanse the land. During this segment, which requires you to scroll to the side, you will visit a variety of environments, including swamps, forests, pyramids, and snowy mountaintops.

When you have successfully eradicated evil from various regions of the land, you will unlock the ability for villagers to return and rebuild their towns. You will then take control of an angel that assists the villagers in the construction of their town and has the ability to bestow miracles upon them to meet their requirements.
