Earthworm Jim

Description
A crow is pursuing a worm by the name of Jim, and in space, Psy-Crow is pursuing a ship that has broken away from the group. The captain of the ship has committed theft by taking an extremely advanced and indestructible superspace cybersuit as well as Queen Slug-for-a. Butt has given Psy-Crow the task of acquiring it for her because she believes it has the potential to make her even more stunning than Princess Whoever Her Name Is. The captain is destroyed by a blast from Psy-Crow, and his suit crashes to Planet Earth.
When Jim returns to Earth, he is wearing an ultra-high-tech, indestructible, super-space-cybersuit when it lands on him. This causes Jim to wonder if he is finally safe. It's a good thing Jim's head is resting in the neck ring of the suit. After that, the space particles start interacting with Jim, which ultimately results in a progression at the speed of light. Jim quickly comes to the conclusion that he is in command of the suit.
Jim happens to overhear the Queen discussing her plans for the suit, and he makes the decision to talk to this Princess...
Earthworm The player assumes control of Jim, a worm dressed in a spacesuit, in the 2D side-scrolling action platformer game Jim. The game also features elements of action. Jim can use his gun to shoot enemies, or he can use his body (the "head" of the spacesuit) to overcome obstacles in a variety of different ways, such as whipping it at enemies, grappling hooks to swing from them, or making it spin very quickly like a rotor to hover for a short period of time.
In spite of the fact that the majority of the game is comprised of standard platforming levels with a boss waiting at the end of each one, some of the levels introduce different conditions that must be met in order to complete them. These conditions may include escorting a computer-controlled character and ensuring that they do not get hurt. There are sections of platforming levels interspersed with other types of gameplay, such as multiple space racing sequences and a bungie jumping competition.
