Extra Innings

Description

This is a baseball game in which the player can create two of their own custom teams in addition to the 12 fictional teams that are included. The game features several different modes, such as an Exhibition mode, an All Star game, a Pennant Race mode, and a Watch mode.

While the Exhibition mode of the game can be played with either one or two players at a time, the All Star game can only be played with two players at a time. Both batting and pitching are done from a perspective that is behind the batter when the game is being played.

The pennant race features six different teams competing against one another over the course of a season that is comprised of a set number of games selected by the player.

During Watch mode, the player can observe two computer-controlled teams competing against one another.

The fielding can be done either automatically or manually, errors and/or wind can be turned on or off, and you can choose to either skip or watch the games that your opponents are playing for the pennant. There is also an option called "Cold Game," which allows a baseball game to be called when one team has a commanding lead of a certain number of runs.
