90 Minutes - European Prime Goal
Description
The 14 teams that compete in the Japanese first division (also known as the J. League) are featured in the soccer video game 90 Minutes: European Prime Goal. In the European version, however, they were switched out for national teams; despite this, there are still some gameplay modes that are similar to the original. The following game modes are available to choose from: exhibition matches, tournaments, leagues, and cups (the teams are divided into two leagues and the overall winner is decided with play-offs). The "You're a Hero" option gives the player the ability to generate a new athlete, alter his characteristics through the completion of a few training missions, and then swap him out for an existing character. If the team is playing defence, the player will have control over the athlete who is closest to the ball. If the team is in possession of the ball, the player will control that athlete. The view of the field is presented from a perspective that is slightly off to the side. In the majority of game modes, human players have the ability to take control of any team, but only two people can compete at once.
