Bebe's Kids

Description

This beat 'em up game is based on an animated film that was released by Paramount Pictures in 1992. The film was groundbreaking in that it featured an all-Black main cast for the first time ever. The characters were first introduced in the stand-up comedy act known as "Bébé's Kids" (pronounced "Bay-Bay") performed by comedian Robin Harris. They are referred to as little demons and badass mischief makers at such a young age. In this game, the amusement park Fun World has been taken over by an unknown adversary, and it is up to you to assist Kahlil, LaShawn, and PeeWee in regaining control of the park.

You have the option to play as either Kahlil or LaShawn, and you have access to the various special attacks that come with each character. Both Kahlil and LaShawn have devastating moves at their disposal, but Kahlil's spin-tuck and LaShawn's cartwheels are particularly effective. In the first level, there is a limit on the amount of time you have to eliminate enemies like animatronic robots and security guards. You can also pick up and throw certain items at your foes if you choose to. In the second level, you'll control the baby PeeWee in a china shop, and your goal is to break 10 glasses off the shelves before any of them hit you, the ground, or your caretaker Robin. There is also a haunted house maze level in which you must navigate through the maze while avoiding mummies at every turn. This level can be unlocked by completing the previous one. After that, there is a level where you fight your way through pirates on a ship, and after that, you finally reach the underground control centre and the Big Boss.
