The Curse of Monkey Island

Description
Guybrush Threepwood almost escaped the terrible amusement park owned by LeChuck, but now he finds himself stranded in the middle of the ocean with nothing but a sausage and a diary in his boat for company. Guybrush was pondering the series of events that have lead him to this difficult situation when all of a sudden he came across a ship that was being steered by none other than his most sworn adversary. Once more, Guybrush comes to the rescue of his cherished Elaine when she is in danger from the grasp of his undead adversary. Guybrush discovers a ring while searching among the loot that once belonged to the enemy that he has vanquished. After being overcome by his feelings for Elaine, he decides to make a marriage proposal to her and offers her the ring. Elaine is transformed into a statue of gold before he has the chance to comprehend what is taking place since he is unaware that the ring is evil and carries a curse. Will Guybrush be able to break the spell and save the woman who is his one and only chance at happiness?
Along the same lines as its two predecessors, the third chapter of the Monkey Island series is a hilarious adventure game in which players solve puzzles. Graphics in this game are done in an SVGA cartoon style, and for the first time in the series, voice-overs have been included for all of the conversations. The interface no longer includes a list of verbs that takes up part of the screen; instead, it adheres to the same idea as Full Throttle: the player chooses first the object to interact with, then the action from a menu that displays. This is done in the same manner as in Full Throttle. The second game in the series, The Curse of Monkey Island, also features two different challenging modes.
