Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 95
Description
Video game called FS95, sometimes known as Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 95, is a flight simulator. It was made available for Windows in late 1996.
A new version (6.0) was created for the Windows 95 operating system. This was mainly just a port from the DOS version (FS5.1), however it did include a much better frame rate, better haze, and more aircraft, like the Extra 300 aerobatic plane.
This was the first version to be made available following Microsoft's acquisition of the Bruce Artwick Organization (BAO) and the physical relocation of BAO's development team to Microsoft's main campus in Redmond, Washington. Project management, testing, and artistic Microsoft employees were integrated with the BAO team.
For the first time, there were significant airports outside of Europe and the US. The scenery packs for version 5.0 work with this update.
