Description

The Second World War is in full swing. The United States of America was attacked at Pearl Harbor, and the majority of its warships were destroyed. The last few remaining aircraft carriers of the United States Navy are engaged in a desperate combat against the surface forces of Japan. But the United States possesses a covert weapon that is stealthy, silent, and lethal—you are a Submarine Commander.

The viewer is positioned within the submersible and looks out at the action. Watch your speed, your direction, and your depth at all times. This game offers a total of 14 Japanese surface ships (9 warships and 5 transport), 9 different types of submarines from which to pick, 10 different kinds of torpedoes to fire, and the entire Pacific Ocean as the playing field for combat. All seven of the missions are simulations of actual battles fought by the United States Navy. Are you able to bring down the Yamato?
