Dragon Slayer - Eiyuu Densetsu II

Description

There have been many years since the ultimate battle, in which the hero of the first game, prince Selios, triumphed over the demon god Agunija. Iseruhasa, the once war-torn land, is now at peace. Selios eventually tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Dina, and the couple went on to have a son, whom they named Atlas. By the time Atlas was fifteen years old, he had already developed into a powerful warrior thanks to the training he had received from his instructor Lowel. Everything appeared to be running smoothly in the nation until a couple of brave warriors came across some strange creatures near the capital city. Those were... people dressed up as astronauts! Naturally, the warriors had no way of knowing this information, so they falsely believed the people to be monsters. Does the mysterious group of newcomers intend no harm to the kingdom, or do they represent a fresh danger for its citizens?

Graphically and mechanically, the second instalment of Dragon Slayer is very similar to the first game in the series. The only significant change is that prior to battles, all of the player's foes will now be completely visible on screen. This allows the player to choose whether or not he wants to engage in combat with those foes. Aside from that, it is a conventional Japanese role-playing game with turn-based combat that is played out from a first-person perspective. The graphics in the Genesis version have been modernised once more.
