F-Zero

Description
The video game F-Zero is a racing simulation that takes place in the year 2560. The player starts the game by selecting one of the four different hovercars that are available, and then they can compete against other hovercars in either the "Practice" or "Grand Prix" game mode.
In the "Practice" mode, the player selects one of the available courses and races against one other hovercar in an effort to come out on top (or there can be no rival at all, if you so wish). The objective of the video game Grand Prix is for the player to win a certain number of races after competing against a number of other drivers. Every race is comprised of a total of five laps.
The hovercar has a limited Power metre, which represents the machine's health and decreases whenever the hovercar collides with the track boundaries or other players. This metre also decreases when the hovercar is hit by other players. If the player's hovercar runs out of power, it will detonate, and they will be eliminated from the race. If the player drives his hovercar through one of the repair zones that are located close to the starting line, the power supply in his vehicle will be restored. The tracks are littered with numerous hazards of varying degrees of peril, such as icefields and landmines.
After successfully completing a lap, the player receives a "Super Jet," which can be used at any time to receive a momentary increase in their speed. The hovercar has the capacity to store up to three Super Jets and can deploy them as needed.
Completing a lap awards points, which, when accumulated to a certain level, award the player with an additional life. In the Grand Prix mode, the player can lose a life if his hovercar blows up, if his hovercar is somehow knocked off the track, or if he falls too far behind the other racers.
