ABC Monday Night Football

Description

The ABC Monday Night Football video game is a licenced adaptation of the popular television football programme of the same name. Because it does not have a league licence, it features generic team names along with fictitious logos and player names. However, it does feature the likeness of well-known broadcaster Frank Gifford and the logo of a popular sports drink.

The pre-season exhibition games and the main season mode are the two primary ways to play the game. There are a total of 28 teams to choose from, and players and teams can both be renamed, and custom teams can also be created. There is also a two-player mode for competing against other players.

The view of the field that is utilised during games is typically one that is taken from behind the quarterback. The playbook contains a total of ten different plays. The controls deviate from the norm that other games have established in the sense that tapping the appropriate button increases the power of kicks and the running speed when rushing or defending. The game will automatically record noteworthy plays as replays, which can then be accessed from the main menu at a later time.
