World Heroes 2

Description

The time-traveling warriors who competed in the tournament have returned! The first eight characters from the previous game make a comeback, and they are joined by six new characters who have been carefully selected from a variety of different eras and locations spread across all of history. Who or what is organising this brand-new competition, and why? In order for the strongest fighter to find out, he or she must first win the title, then defeat all of the other competitors, and finally go up against the person who knows all of the answers.

The second instalment of the World Heroes series introduces fresh environments and soundtracks, in addition to enhanced animation and visuals. Combatants now have the ability to redirect projectile attacks at their foes and even reverse normal throws if the player's timing is just right. The Death Match mode from the first game has also been brought back, but this time it comes with an added twist: the fighter's life bar will now go up or down depending on whether they deal or take damage. If the player is successful in filling up the health metre of his fighter to the maximum level, the challenger will be defeated.
