Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty
Description
Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty is a separate mission pack that may be played on its own or in conjunction with Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. Each of the original game's six commandos has returned, and they now have access to some fresh weapons and skills in addition to those they already possessed. The most noticeable modification is the inclusion of several new non-lethal weapons, such as chloroform for the Spy, fists for the Green Beret, a club for the Driver, and so on. These weapons provide players the option to briefly incapacitate opposing guards in a stealthy manner. Both the Green Beret and the Spy have the ability to handcuff unconscious adversaries, rendering them immobile; the Spy also has the ability to take their uniforms. Every commando has the ability to take control of captive guards and use them as a distraction while keeping the guards at gunpoint. However, the guards must remain within the line of sight of the commando who is commanding them; otherwise, they will run away and alert the enemy.
The game has eight brand-new, challenging missions that take place between the years 1940 and 1945 in a variety of locales around Europe under German occupation. The mission maps are even more intricate than they were in the first game, leaving very little room for players to make mistakes. There are also several mission-specific controllable characters, such as the Ukrainian spy Natasha and the Yugoslav partisan Dragia Skopje.
The video game Beyond the Call of Duty has a stand-alone executable that can be used as a guide. In addition to films that have been updated and improved in quality, the focus of which is on the fundamentals of the game as well as on each commando for himself, there are also two training missions that can be played through and put the players' commandos through their paces.
