DreamLand: Final Solution

Description

Virtual reality (VR) will be the most financially successful entertainment venue in the year 2020. Orbital station DreamLand is the only location on Earth where humans are legally permitted to experience virtual reality in its fullest form. It is incredibly popular as well as extremely costly, and there are stories that clients who use it end up returning to Earth with their minds utterly ruined, so it is possible that it is not completely safe. Jim Dix, a journalist who contributes to significant newspapers, is dispatched by his boss (who foots the bill) to investigate the station in order to gather some dirt on it. He is in for a wild ride that will take him through a variety of virtual realities, complete with talking simians and criminals.

DreamLand is a point-and-click adventure played from the third-person perspective, much like the previous two Broken Sword titles. The virtual reality segments (which are truly stories inside stories and include, to mention a few examples, seeing the Frankenstein monster, touring pirate-infested Macao, or traveling to 1930s Chicago) are rendered, as opposed to painted. The game features complete voice acting throughout.
