Hungry Dinosaurs

Description

The classic board game Othello has been given a prehistoric makeover in the form of Hungry Dinosaurs. Each turn, one player has the opportunity to place an egg into one of the nine grids that comprise the playing field. The colour of a player's eggs will change if they are successful in capturing an entire row (either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) of their opponent's eggs and keeping one egg at each end of the row. After a predetermined amount of time, a round is over, and the winner is whoever has the most eggs still scattered across the playing field. Multiple bouts, or rounds, make up a single match. In contrast to a traditional board game, this one allows for as many as four players to compete.
