Interstate '76

Description

In this bleak reimagining of the year 1976, the Federal Government of the United States has collapsed, and the entire world is afflicted by the impacts of an oil crisis. The American South West's roadways are under constant threat from armed gangs. You are Groove Champion, and when your sister Jade is murdered, you inherit the Picard Piranha that she had custom-built for herself and decide to live a life of vigilantism with the sole intention of exacting retribution.

The vehicle warfare video game Interstate '76 has a 1970s setting, so expect to see muscle cars and listen to funk and disco music. Battle creepers in the instant melee mode against as many as seven other human players, or hit the road and search for the person who killed Groove's sister in one of 17 scripted missions that are spread out throughout open-ended trackless landscapes. The user has the ability to customize their vehicle with a variety of various armaments, including mines, grenade launchers, machine guns, and turrets. The car controls and collision mechanics in the game are meant to be realistic, despite the fact that the game world is not meant to be genuine.
