Z

Description

Z is a real-time strategy video game in which players compete for control of several sectors. Some of these sectors feature manufactories that may be used to produce new soldiers for the player's army. If you touch the "flag" in the sector, it will be yours to control. Take control of the sector before the new unit emerges from production so that you can claim ownership of the new unit. Your ultimate mission is to destroy the opponent's base while preventing him from doing the same to yours using a variety of robots, each of which has its own unique set of armaments, armor, and speed, as well as a variety of vehicles (ranging from jeeps to tanks) that the robots can exploit.

The focus of the game, in contrast to that of many other real-time strategy games, is not on amassing a large army or racking up kills; rather, it is on maintaining territorial control and constructing manufactories. You will need to strike a delicate balance between defense and offense. If you wait too long, your opponent will be able to seize control of all of the manufactories. If you move too quickly, you run the risk of spreading yourself too thin, which will result in negative consequences. You can take control of an enemy vehicle by eliminating the driver first. You don't actually need to supervise each soldier since if you send a bunch of soldiers toward an objective and they find a vehicle, one of them will branch off to capture the vehicle on their own; the mission will be accomplished.
