Carmageddon

Description

In the bloody racing game Carmageddon, destroying rival players' vehicles and killing people on foot are just as crucial as winning the race. The player starts out with just one automobile and is ranked #99. The main goal is to compete all the way to the top while obtaining the rivals' cars as trophies (and maybe replacements for one's own vehicle). The player can kill civilians and intentionally crash into opponents during the race. 

Credits can be earned for upgrades and even repairs to the car at any time throughout the race through damage, kills, and amazing moves. When an opponent's automobile gets totaled repeatedly over the course of several races, it is added to the selection of vehicles. There are numerous power-ups scattered throughout the courses, ranging from practical (increased speed, instant brake) to entertaining and plain ridiculous. While damaging everything in sight is recommended, winning a race by coming in first is also an option. The game features expansive areas that invite exploration outside the racing track.
