Quake 2

Description

This first-person shooter, which is really a sequel in name only to I d's hit Quake, centers on the Earth-Strogg conflict. The Strogg extraterrestrial race is a menace to the Earth, but the planet has established Operation Alien Overlord as a defense. With the ultimate goal of seizing their capital city and assassinating its monarch, Overlord brings the war to the homeworld of the Strogg.

As an FPS, Quake II offers a wide range of weaponry, such as the Railgun, the Blaster, and the BFG10K. During levels, you can find health, armor, and ammunition pickups as well as the Quad Damage power-up from the original Quake. As the player advances through stages and completes game objectives, they must slaughter alien opponents. Deathmatch multiplayer support is also included in Quake II.
