IndyCar Racing II
Description
The 1993 IndyCar Racing serves as the basis for the fourth installment of Papyrus's racing game series. It makes extensive use of the advancements that were initially implemented in NASCAR Racing. There are a total of fifteen tracks, and the main features include 640x480 SVGA graphics, support for two players in multiplayer mode, pi telemetry data to add a sense of realism, interactive driving schools, improved artificial intelligence, in-game communication with the pit crew that supports speech recognition technology, and digital stereo sound.
You compete in races using open-wheel cars, and the game features multiple driving angles, in-depth physics modeling, and a realistic simulation of both damage and steering controls. During the races, you are able to retrieve information about your car at any time, including details like the fuel, tires, wings, and wheel stagger. In addition to the in-game paint shop, there was a bustling community of modders working on the game, and there were many different custom car sets available online.
