Description

The popular manga and anime series of the same name served as inspiration for this video game. Serena, a student in her 14th year, is the series' protagonist. Her name is Serena (Usagi in the Japanese version). One day, she comes face to face with a magical talking cat named Luna, and Luna informs her that she has been selected to be a Sailor Moon fighter, to locate the missing Princess of the Moon Kingdom, and to battle the forces of darkness led by the wicked Queen Beryl.

This video game is a beat-em-up adaptation of the original story. You have the option of taking control of Serena herself or one of the other Sailor Moon characters. The abilities and special attacks that each girl possesses are unique to her. You progress through the game by navigating platforms and overcoming the challenges presented by the adversaries you face. If you haven't vanquished all of the foes that keep charging at you, then you won't be able to proceed.
