Dharma Doujou

Description
A conversion of an arcade game with the same name, Dharma Dj is a puzzle game that uses the same name. This version of the game, in contrast to the arcade original, in which the player was required to manually move the character around the screen in order to hit a block with the mallet, automatically aligns the player with the block that is the farthest away from them. Additionally, this port includes four different game modes (two more than the arcade version).
In the story mode (), evil spirits have launched an assault, and with the assistance of good spirits, you have to put an end to the invasion. You can choose to play as the monk or the maiden, and in either case, you'll need to use a hammer to push items to the left. After that, you will see these in a section near the bottom of the screen. If none of the items in the stack match, the entire row will be brought back onto the screen when the lower section has been filled up. This will result in the stacks being moved up one level. If all of the items are compatible, they will transform into a good spirit that will attack the evil spirit and cause it to move more slowly. Do not waste any time because the evil spirit is constantly climbing a rope in an attempt to get to a rope that is holding the temple bell and cut it. The game is over if the evil spirit manages to cut the rope that hangs the temple bell or if the stacks rise higher than the highest level of the playing field.
In the second game mode, which is known as Dhama Training Editing (), you start with a stack of sixteen items that are stacked in a grid pattern of four items across and four items high. At the bottom, you are required to create groups consisting of the same four items each time. Even though there is not a malevolent spirit seen climbing on the left, you are not permitted to tarry. Another group of sixteen items will fall onto the playing field after a predetermined amount of time has elapsed. When something like this is about to happen, a bird-man will provide you with a countdown warning, and on the right, you will be able to see what will happen after this. If the stacks reach above the level of play, the game is over and the winner is determined.
You are presented with a pattern of items on the right side of the screen when you enter the third game mode, which is titled Dharma Questions and Answers (). You have either a set amount of time or a predetermined number of moves that you must use to replicate this pattern on the left. If you are successful, you will progress to a pattern that is significantly more challenging. If you are unsuccessful, the game will be over.
The final game mode is a two-player competitive game, which is denoted by the symbol. In the bottom section, you are required to form groups of four of the same item. If the group you create is comprised of four different creatures, such as cats or pigs, then your opponent will receive an additional row of those creatures at the very top of their stack. A lamp belonging to one of your rivals will be illuminated if you manage to line up blocks of the same colour in a row. You win a round of the game if you light all four of the lamps that belong to your opponent or if your opponent's stack rises higher than the level of the playing field. To win the game, you need to win two out of the three rounds.
