Space Quest II: Chapter II - Vohaul's Revenge
Description
Roger Wilco, a master janitor, was under the impression that he had finished his business with Sludge Vohaul. Vohaul, however, has returned with an even more nefarious plan, just as one would expect from a villainous scientist. This time, he plans to introduce thousands of genetically created door-to-door life insurance salesmen into the planet Xenon. The last thing that he wants is for Roger to muck things up, and so he has the heroic janitor caught and taken to the planet Labion, where he will spend the rest of his days working in the mines that Vohaul owns. Roger is the only one to survive after the shuttle that was supposed to carry him to the mines unfortunately crashed. It will be necessary for him to endure the perils that the planet Labion's jungles present in order to eventually prevent Vohaul from carrying out his insane scheme.
The Sarien Encounter was the first game in Sierra's comedic Space Quest series of adventure games. Vohaul's Revenge is the sequel to that game and the second game in the series. The arrow keys are used to move Roger Wilco about, and the player types in commands to interact with the environment and other players. Similar to the last game, there are a number of different ways in which the player character can lose their life. A significant portion of the game consists around guiding Roger away from various hazards and traps that he may encounter on his journey. For the sake of preserving Roger's life, it is imperative that certain tasks be completed as swiftly as possible.
