Choplifter III

Description

Choplifter III for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System has levels that are completely different from those found in the Game Gear and GameBoy versions, and the gameplay is also a little bit different from that of the other Choplifter games. Choplifter III is a lot faster and has more of an emphasis on action than the previous Choplifter games. The controls and the basic gameplay haven't changed all that much, and the main objective of each level is still to save a certain number of hostages, but Choplifter III is a lot more intense.

Now, there are a greater variety and quantity of enemies to face. They show up more frequently, and certain levels feature battles against larger bosses than others do. In order to make up for this, there are an increased number of power-ups (including missiles, bombs, invisibility, and so on), and it is also possible to have the helicopter repaired at specific points throughout each level.
