1991 Du Ma Racing

1991 Du Ma Racing is a racing game developed for the NES console in 1991. As a computer and console games editor, I had the opportunity to try it out and now I bring you my review.
The game offers several racing tracks that are located in different environments such as city streets, forest roads or mountain roads. The player has a choice of several vehicles that differ in their characteristics such as speed, handling and brakes. The races themselves are very fast and action-packed, although it can be a little difficult to get used to the controls of the vehicles, which are a little inflexible. 
The graphics of the game are typical of the era in which it was created, although one might expect more colour variety. The sound effects are similarly average, but the music is very different. In each environment we have a different musical soundtrack, which is interesting, but there could be a bit more variation in the individual tracks.
The gameplay of this game is fairly simple, which may be good for less experienced players. However, for advanced players, the game may be too easy and after a few races played, they may start to get bored. One of the things I would like to see is more difficulty choices to make the game more interesting for all types of players. Overall, I have to say that 1991 Du Ma Racing is not the best racing game I have ever played, but it still offers fun and challenge to the player. If you are a fan of racing games from the 90's, this game may be an interesting nostalgic trip back in time for you. For complete newcomers, this is a good entry into the world of racing games on the NES console.

The game amply fulfills its purpose as a fun racing game on an old console. It has its weak points, but offers a reasonable amount of fun and gameplay options. If you are a fan of retro games and want to enjoy a fun release, you might give this game a chance. Otherwise, I would recommend this title more to those who have a soft spot for old racing games.
