Aerobiz

Description

Imagine that you are the Chief Executive Officer of an airline. Your objective is to make your airline the most profitable and successful in the world by establishing air routes to all 22 cities, achieving and maintaining the required passenger quota, and maintaining a profit. You will be considered a loser if you are unable to make a profit for one year or satisfy the victory conditions within 32 years. You will need to make a number of important strategic choices, such as negotiating for open air routes, buying or selling aircraft, investing in branch offices and hotels, marketing your airline, and setting budgets. You are also obligated to pay attention to statistics such as quarterly and yearly sales reports, in addition to data from the city. Natural disasters, armed conflicts, and even the Olympic games are all examples of global events that can have an impact on the number of passengers an airline receives and, in turn, how much money it makes. The game features a variety of planes, each of which is modelled after a specific aircraft from real life, such as the Boeing 747 and the Concorde.
