Astérix

Description

This is in the year 50 BC. Roman forces have complete control over all of Gaul. To be honest, almost completely... There is still one small Gaulish village that is holding out against the occupying forces, with the villagers being protected by a magic potion that makes them invincible. But Obelix has mysteriously disappeared! It has been confirmed that the Romans have captured him, and they have taken him to an unknown location.

Astérix is a platform game that is based on the eponymous comic books. In the game, the short and moustachioed Gaul has to progress through levels located all across Europe, fighting Romans and various aggressive animals along the way, in order to save his friend Obelix from Caesar before Caesar throws him to the lions.
