Hanjuku Hero - Ah, Sekai yo Hanjuku Nare...!!

Description

Hanjuku Eiyu takes place in a world known as the Egg World, which is home to two distinct nations known as Hanjuku and Kanjuku, which literally translate to "soft-boiled" and "hard-boiled" eggs, respectively. You will assume the role of the commander of the Hanjuku army, and your objective will be to lead it successfully through a series of events (referred to as "tales"), during which you will be tasked with capturing enemy castles and vanquishing the bosses of the Kanjuku army.

This is a war strategy game played in real time. The length of time spent playing the game is represented as a calendar year, with each month representing a few minutes of actual time. You take control of the hero as well as his generals, each of whom commands their own individual units of foot soldiers. You are tasked with advancing your army commanders across the global map in order to seize control of enemy castles. After you have taken control of all of the castles, a new structure will appear on the map. This is the location of the level boss, and the objective of the chapter (story) will be completed once you have vanquished the boss. After running into an adversary, an automatic battle sequence will begin, which you will be able to interrupt in order to give your army specific orders. Egg Monsters are formidable creatures that can engage in turn-based combat against an entire army or against each other. Both the Hanjuku and the Kanjuku armies possess the ability to call upon Egg Monsters. A "monthly event," such as a change in the land, an earthquake, or other natural occurrence, takes place every month. In addition, random events take place, during which you have the opportunity to purchase supplies for your army.
