Description

The player assumes control of "The Master," a godlike spirit that has been cast down from the heavens, and their mission is to rid the land of all evil. This sequel to ActRaiser focuses entirely on the side-scrolling action of the original game and features 14 levels filled with new enemies, new abilities, and new superpowers.

You continue to control a "Cloud Palace" across a zoomable map of the world, where you select the next area of the fight you will engage in. In addition to this, a lot of the sound effects from the first game make a comeback, and there are also some hidden RPG elements.

The village-building mode has been removed from the game, and in its place, a password-based save system has been implemented. Additionally, the original ActRaiser features an entirely different musical score.
