NHL 98

Description

NHL 98 is one of the earliest representatives of the NHL series from EA Sports and despite being released back in 1997, it is still one of the great sports games. The game offers a perfect combination of arcade gameplay and realistic ice hockey simulation.

What impressed me the most about this game was its amazing graphics, which were really great for its time. The players and rinks look very realistic and the individual movements of the beauties are smooth and natural. The game also offers a lot of details such as additional equipment or the ability to view spots on the ice.

In terms of gameplay, NHL 98 offers several different game modes such as season, playoffs or champions league. Each mode has its own specific features and provides players with different experiences. It is not difficult to learn how to control the players and use the different joints in the game, which makes the game very accessible even for less experienced players.

One of the most fun things in the game is the time slowdown during the game, which allows players to better plan their moves and evaluate the situation on the ice. This feature is very useful in challenging situations and adds another dimension of strategy to the game.

Overall, NHL 98 was a great game for its time with great graphics, gameplay and rich content. Despite its age, it still manages to entertain and captivate even today and definitely deserves a place in every ice hockey fan's heart. If you are a hockey fan, you should definitely not miss it.
