Description

It is the year 50 BC. The Romans had taken complete control over Gaul. Almost totally, that is... Due to the locals' protection from a magic elixir that renders them indestructible, one little Gaulish town continues to resist the occupying soldiers. But Obelix has since disappeared. His capture has been officially announced, and the Romans have sent him somewhere secret. 

In the platform game Astérix, which is based on the comic books of the same name, the short, mustachioed Gaul must advance through levels spread out throughout Europe while fending off Roman soldiers and different dangerous creatures in order to save his friend Obelix before Caesar throws him to the lions.
