Airline Tycoon

Description

The player takes on the role of the manager of an airline firm in the game Airline Tycoon, which is a management simulation. The player has to complete a variety of objectives across the game's six missions (in addition to the tutorial), in order to emerge victorious. Naturally, it provides all of the typical choices that are available in business simulations, such as firing and hiring employees, accepting commissions (while keeping in mind the capabilities of one's own fleet), and purchasing, maintaining, and improving aircraft. Every day consists of two operations that are repeated: getting feedback on the previous job done and planning the routes that every plane will take. This can be a difficult chore due to the fact that there are 48 airports and a limitless number of planes, each of which comes in 18 various versions. The player also has the choice to collaborate with one of the computer-controlled opponents instead of going it alone.

In addition to the standard office and statistics screens, this game also includes an animated airport view. Within this view, the player is provided with optical feedback in the form of potential customers who think about the things they like and don't like about the items they are considering purchasing. The player has complete command of his character on this screen, and can move him freely to the locations where the various acts described earlier can be carried out.
