Description

The game is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the release of Chessmaster 5000.

This implementation includes a redesigned Windows interface, new tutorials, a new chess database with over 27,000 entries, new time controls, sound effects, and music, and a redesigned chess game.

The game can either be played against an opponent controlled by artificial intelligence, another human, or a remote participant.

The following is a list of the top fifteen new features of this game that are included in the game's documentation: A brand new engine that has been optimized for a 32-bit Pentium processor * Updated graphics, including over ten new chess sets in both 2D and 3D, in addition to a number of new boards. * A new database with over 27,000 entries dedicated to the game of chess.
