George Foreman's KO Boxing

Description
This is a boxing simulation with heavyweight champion George Foreman as the main character. Players assume the role of Foreman and compete in a series of twelve rounds against a variety of other boxers to earn the right to wear the championship title belt.
The game is played from a third-person perspective, with the view coming from directly over the boxer's shoulders. Players are able to move left and right to avoid incoming punches, block, and throw left and right punches. The cross punch is the default option, but jabs can also be thrown by holding down the Up key while throwing punches.
When you block their punches and then land one of your own, you open yourself up for a superpunch, which can deal significantly more damage. A bout is comprised of no more than three rounds, each of which lasts for three minutes. After a boxer has been downed four times, the fight is considered to be finished (technical knock-out). When a boxer falls to the canvas three times in a single round, the result is the same (regular knock-out). When they are knocked down, players must quickly press both of the punch buttons one after the other to get back up on their feet. An on-screen energy metre that depletes whenever the player takes damage is displayed. Some of the energy is regained both after being knocked down and during the breaks in the action.
Every version of the game can be played cooperatively by two people, with the exception of the Game Boy. The progress can be saved using a password-protected system.
